Hello, I'm James and I'm living in Stillwater, which just outside of Old Town, with my parents. I'm a local and have lived here nearly all my life. I'm currently trying to get a job on campus, so don't be surprised if you find me in one of the dining halls. I volunteer at the Black Bear Exchange, which is a food pantry and thrift store on campus. My best friend works there so I don't mind helping out when they need me.
I like to pursue digital hobbies like photoshopping funny images on facebook, making funny videos, writing stories and I also have an interest in making shirt designs. I have a close group of friends, but am gaining more as I go on in college. I'd describe myself as odd and friendly with a fascination for the strange and philosophical.
As I said before I make videos and I like them to be funny. I am looking to get into game reviews and parodies. I made a game in COS 125 last semester and enjoyed it a fair bit even though it was just a text based battleship game.
I am going to be getting a minor in film and video. I do love cinema quite a bit. I do enjoy TV series more than movies however. As I said before I might have an interest in game design, but film is the priority right now; I do hope that I can find a way to work in both media. I do what I do because I enjoy it, the stuff I write makes me laugh and I hope it has the same affect on other people. My comedy is usually very sarcastic and sometimes has underlying messages that I hope will not be misinterpreted too much. Overall I'm motivivated to make enjoyable and unique experiences in any media that I channel my creativity through.
As far as themes of creativity. I enjoy creepy halloweenish things quite a bit. However I do write stories about dungeons and dragons, science fiction and everything in between. Overall I'm motivivated to make enjoyable and unique experiences in any media that I channel my creativity through.
